Translate fully understands the pressures that you face and we
are always on hand to do the very best we can to help, especially
when it comes to delivery times.
Generally
speaking, translators can comfortably translate between 1000 and
2000 words a day, some more, some less, depending on the nature
and complexity of the text, the amount of research required, and
the language combinations involved. As with everything in life,
the quicker you work at something, the more likely it is to affect
the overall quality. This is why it is important to try to leave
as much time as possible to have your translations completed –
however as we all know this is not always possible!
We
do have additional means in place to try to alleviate this
stress - our Rapid Response Service. This service
is available for selected translations and means that for a little
extra we can guarantee that your work will be dealt with and returned
quicker than with our Standard Service, but with
the same guarantees.
Verifications (also known as proofreading or validation) can sometimes
take longer than a translation because you are checking for differences
and errors, and then correcting them! Not quite as straightforward
as a basic translation!
