“Seeing others who are different is the first step to understanding them, and to realising that we all share the same small world”
G Raisman, 2012

Geoff-2smallProfessor Geoffrey Raisman MD PhD FMedSci FRS is an internationally-renowned Neuroscientist at the forefront of his field.  He carries out pioneering research into Spinal Cord Injury using stem cells.

Why is this relevant to a translation agency?

Well, Professor Raisman’s work is all about building bridges along which cells can travel to repair broken communication channels between the brain and the rest of our bodies.

Our work is about building bridges between peoples and countries to reinforce communication channels around a world which so often badly needs them.

Professor Raisman is widely travelled, and his unique and successful approach to his science gives him an equally unique eye for stunning photographs which empower us to greater understanding of how other people live, bringing the world closer to us and allowing us an insight into cultures very different from our own.

One man’s unique perspective on life around the world

The images you will find here are not designed as a travel website for famous sites.

You will find some well-known landmarks, but equally these images will take you to places in the world which you would never have dreamt of visiting, to meet the people who live there and to see how they live.

We hope they give you as much pleasure in your browsing as they have us in the setting up of this site, and we are more than delighted to hear your feedback and respond to any questions you may have.
